Michelle Mills-Porter

National President of Professional Speaking Association, Neurodiversity Advocate and a Lived Experience Expert

Michelle Mills-Porter is a renowned behaviour expert specialising in Motivation, Collaboration, and Engagement. She is the creator of The People Reader analysis tools developed from her profound insights into human behaviour, sparked by her personal experience during the Boxing Day tsunami.

Michelle helps organisations to unlock their “People Power”, leaders to lead through empowerment and individuals to uncover their hidden magnificence.

It was through her own behavioural tools that Michelle uncovered the neurodivergent patterns in her own life, ultimately leading to a late diagnosis of ADHD. This revelation not only answered long-held personal questions but also inspired her to challenge prevailing societal statistics on neurodivergence.

Driven by insights from thousands of behavioural profiles, Michelle created a new tool – Illuminator – designed to reveal potential neurodivergence in the workplace. Unlike traditional assessments, Illuminator focuses on strengths and standout qualities, rather than perceived deficits. Though still in development, her keynote on the subject offers practical, immediately applicable strategies for inclusive workplaces.

Like many ADHD’ers, Michelle brings her passion to multiple ventures. She sits on the boards of several charities and CICs, is a celebrated professional speaker, and serves as National President of the Professional Speaking Association (PSA UK & Ireland).
