Overview

The Energy sector faces a unique combination of challenges in 2024; arguably the political, economic, social and ethical context for energy has never been more challenging.  This programme has been developed for leaders in the energy sector, and will be an opportunity to develop strategic leadership capability by interacting with current challenges and opportunities, including:

  • Energy Transition: The UK is undergoing a rapid shift towards renewable energy sources. Leaders need to navigate this transition effectively.
  • Regulatory Environment: The complex and evolving regulatory landscape requires strategic acumen.
  • Sustainability: Leaders need to engage with their environmental and social responsibilities for their organisations to be allowed to grow or continue to operate at current levels.
  • Digital Transformation: The energy sector is increasingly reliant on technology. Leaders must be digitally savvy to be able to identify solutions and opportunities here.
  • Talent Management: Attracting and retaining top talent is a critical challenge as several aspects of the energy sector struggle with their brand identity amongst Generation Z.

During this highly interactive and engaging 4-day programme, you will:

  • Develop enhanced leadership and management skills to enable you to create the environment for people to flourish.
  • Be able to motivate, develop and upskill your teams, and develop a comprehensive succession plan.
  • Engage strategically with key challenges facing the energy sector, identify opportunities, and influence stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Identify how to create a ‘change ready’ culture, and develop a real world change focussed roadmap to take back with you into the organisation.

Feedback from previous course deliveries from attendees includes:

"A great experience hearing others’ views and sharing experiences. Very self-reflective! I’ll definitely apply the methods and approaches in my job."

"Very skilful, knowledgeable, and experienced, as well as incredibly engaging."

"Alex is a fantastic communicator. His experience and knowledge are simply excellent, and he has a special touch for connecting with people. Loved it!"
