  • Preventing suicide shouldn’t be the focus, preventing deterioration of mental health should be the focus! – It’s easier to stop someone getting to suicidal thoughts than it is to stop someone from doing it (if the right framework exists) 
  • Self-Harm isn’t always physical – In fact, the mental abuse received by people going through mental ill health, from themselves, is much, much worse than physical self-harm.
  • Social media is NOT to blame – society, everyone, needs to take responsibility for their actions – SM is just the tool in which freedom of expression is actioned
