Are you ready to embrace neurodiversity in your organisation?
In the UK, it is estimated that 1 in 7 people are neurodivergent, yet many continue to experience significant barriers in employment and workplace progression. Employment figures still show a stark disparity, with only 31% of autistic people in work compared with 54.7% of disabled people overall. These figures highlight the urgent need for organisations to rethink how workplaces are designed, managed, and supported to meet the needs of a neurodiverse workforce.
While awareness of neurodiversity is growing, misconceptions and outdated assumptions still influence organisational cultures, recruitment practices, and workplace policies. As a result, many organisations continue to overlook the valuable strengths, perspectives, and innovative thinking that neurodivergent employees bring.
The Institute of Government & Public Policy has built a strong reputation for delivering engaging and impactful Diversity, Equity and Inclusion conferences and training. Building on the success of previous neurodiversity inclusion events across London, Manchester, and Northern Ireland, the programme for the Neurodiversity At Work Conference 2026 will bring together leading experts, advocates, policymakers, and practitioners to explore how organisations can move beyond awareness and towards meaningful inclusion.
Feedback from previous attendees includes:
