Online Event 31 August 2022, 9:00am - 3:00pm
I started my career in local government in 2001 when I joined a Kent local authority and was employed there for over 20 years.
My work within energy delivery has span over 18 years and I still fully enjoy and feel motivated to learn further and face future challenges in what is a hard area to deliver.
My passion comes from helping those vulnerable households in our community and seeing how our interventions help improve their health and wellbeing. Adding to this is my care towards the environment we live in.
I joined the GSENZH in August 2021 and though it has only been a year, I can say I am working with the most dynamic team to help deliver Net Zero targets. My role enables me to help local authorities meet fuel poverty and Net Zero targets. We have started to see amazing projects being delivered despite the challenges we have faced in completing them.
I enjoy travelling and recent trips have provided me with better understanding of the world we live in. Our world is so fragile and yet very inspiring to see the beauty that surround us. A reflection on being grateful in life and to also continue to do all we can to protect people and the environment.
