A housing policy researcher, Helen has contributed to several research projects commissioned by the DLUHC (MHCLG) BEIS and other clients such as the Department of Health, Centre for Ageing Better, and the National Housing Federation. She leads the Insights and Consultancy team’s work in relation to fuel poverty and domestic housing quality, recently representing BRE at the Sounding Board to the Government Review of the Decent Homes Standard. With interest in housing and health issues, and ageing society, Helen has also authored/co-authored several reports in these fields, most recently BRE’s recent report – ‘The Cost of Poor Housing in England’.
