Rachael is Head of Policy and External Affairs at the Chartered Institute of Housing. Prior to this she worked at Citizens Advice and in central government, with roles spanning the Department for Communities and Local Government (forerunner to Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities), Cabinet Office and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Rachael is also a board trustee for The Giving Machine charity and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
