Michelle started working in social media marketing when it really took off for businesses and organisations, roughly 15 years ago. She has years of public sector, off and online communications experience. She’s also worked in the public sector for marketing agencies and for many well-known brands including Who wants to be a Millionaire?, WHSmith and Swindon Borough Council.

More recently Michelle was Digital Media Marketing Specialist for a local hospice where she was responsible for the creation and implementation of the organisations first social media strategy which delivered a 178% uplift in digital reach in its first year.

She’s currently Digital Engagement Manager for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire and Swindon. She also runs and funds her own digital campaign called We Are Swindon. Using her digital marketing skills and experience, she uses the reach and engagement to help local charities reach more people online.

Michelle combines her hands-on approach with her passion for social media strategy, to engage with thousands of people online and teach others the power of digital marketing.
