The move to hybrid working further highlighted the importance of high-quality and efficient styles in communication. As a Government, credibility and public trust are paramount, communication plays a crucial role in this. 

In May 2022, the Government Communication Services (GCS) launched a 3-year strategy to support the Government’s internal and external responses through multi-channelled approaches, especially in this era where people are facing enormous challenges from climate change, COVID-19, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
