Sophie is a reducing inequalities communications and engagement manager at Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership. 

She has experience of working with vulnerable and marginalised communities both digitally and on the ground. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and following this she has been involved with and led on work that puts communities first, amplifies the voices of local people and ensures health and care information is accessible. 

Sophie is part of Bradford District and Craven’s Reducing Inequalities Alliance which aims to support and coordinate action to reduce inequalities in the district. Her role in the alliance is lead on communications and engagement.  

In October 2022, Sophie won the ‘NHS Rising Star’ award at the NHS Communicate Awards.  

Sophie has a degree in Journalism and has a background in digital marketing. She has worked in public health in both the UK and Australia.
