Cristian Marcucci is the Assistant Director for Communications at Staffordshire County Council. A former local newspaper report, Cristian has worked in local government communications for 16 years, including roles at Westminster, Richmond-upon-Thames, Harrow, Sutton and Stoke-on-Trent. He is responsible for Staffordshire’s internal and external communications, including public affairs and the We Are Staffordshire place marketing programme, recently shortlisted for international place brand of the year. The Staffordshire comms team won the prestigious Team of the Year category at the comms2point0 Unawards in December 2022.
