Kath Bromfield

Council for Disabled Children (CDC)

Associate

Kath is a parent to four young adults and has been involved in the world of SEND for over 30 years as a volunteer, mentor, teacher, governor, PCF Chair, NNPCF representative, inclusion consultant and for 23 of those as a parent.

Kath is passionate to make changes to ensure people with disabilities can live their best lives with choice and control and that those who support them get the support to do this the best they can.

Kath is a person centred planner, expert by experience, and a trainer across many parts of the SEND arena. Her depth of understanding of inclusion, co-production and her straight talking is an asset when trying to bring about culture change whether that's working with Ministers nationally or locally with professionals and families. Kath thrives on honest conversations and working together to find solutions.
