Rachel is a SEND advisory teacher working for Ladywood Outreach service. The service provides support for the inclusion of learners in all mainstream settings across Bolton and beyond, supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs from ages 2 to 19.

Rachel has over 15 years of experience in teaching and has played key roles in a leadership and SENCo capacity. She is a link tutor for Manchester Metropolitan University, delivering the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination, and leads on the use of symbol supported communication through the service’s partnership with Widgit software as a Widgit Centre for the North West.
