Dr Andrew Harding is a Lecturer in Health Research in the Division of Health Research, Faculty of Health & Medicine at Lancaster University. He is module lead for the Ageing component on the taught doctoral programme. His primary research interest falls within ageing and gerontology, welfare reforms and mixed economies of welfare. He has a particular interest in individual agency practices and approaches to information-giving that trigger older people to access and engage with welfare provision such as health care, social care and housing.
