Paul Frainer is Head of Place/Programme Lead at TPXimpact, whose vision is to deliver impactful, sustainable digital transformation to enrich how individuals and society experience the world. Until March 2022 Paul was Assistant Director – Strategy and Economy at Greater Cambridge Shared Planning, where he had overall responsibility for economic development, strategic planning and planning policy development. Paul is also a Director of the Institute of Economic Development (IED), the UK’s leading independent professional body for economic development and regeneration professionals working for local and regional communities. At the IED, Paul champions the drive for net zero carbon emission (sharing knowledge, examples of best practice and future thinking) in the context of local authority-led economic development.
