Katie Power is an Associate Principal Consultant at InPD, specialising in Healthcare Leadership and Coaching. She holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Central Lancashire, an MSc in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Birmingham, and is a Chartered Management Institute Level 7 qualified Executive Coach.

With over 20 years’ experience in strategic and operational leadership roles, Katie has worked at board level across complex health and care systems, driving organisational performance and supporting inclusive leadership development. During her time in the NHS, she served on a Merseyside commissioning board, contributing to decisions on healthcare provision aligned to budgets, value for money and health inequalities.

Katie played a key role in the creation and national roll-out of the GP Assistant role, now an accredited and government-reimbursed qualification. She has extensive experience supporting organisations through change and embedding new ways of working.

A Director of The Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub, Katie leads initiatives such as Coaching for Women Leaders. She is passionate about empowering women to step confidently into senior roles and is known for her warm, pragmatic coaching style that builds trust, encourages reflection and supports meaningful behavioural change.
