Online Conference 29 March 2023, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Dr Sophie Laws has led the CSA Centre’s research programme since its launch in 2017. The CSA Centre wants children to be able to live free from the threat and harm of sexual abuse. It aims to bring about change by collating and analysing existing research, policy, practice and the experiences of those affected, and filling the gaps with new research, insights and analysis. This work has improved understanding of what we do and don’t know about child sexual abuse, and of the situation of services responding to it. Sophie brings extensive experience in research/evaluation at Barnardo’s, Coram, Save the Children, and as a consultant. Author of Research for Development: a practical guide (Sage, second edition 2013).
