Lawrence Jordan is the Director of services at Marie Collins Foundation (MCF), a charity that works to improve the outcomes for children who have been harmed through Technology Assisted Child Sexual Abuse (TACSA). MCF are currently working on a number of projects both nationally and internationally through their training program, research and direct support.
Lawrence has worked within Children Social Care since 2003. Lawrence has worked as an out of hours Emergency social worker, front line safeguarding social worker within a MASH team, and family support social worker undertaking longer term support with children. Lawrence became Milton Keynes, Professional Lead for Children Missing, Exploited and Trafficked. Lawrence developed and managed a specialist multi-agency hub to respond to these issues. In addition Lawrence was responsible for developing wider local arrangements for responding to missing and trafficked children, as well as creating a program of work with sexually exploited children.
Lawrence has received 2 awards, firstly for his work with children and families, and secondly a police commendation for his exceptional work with children who are exploited, reported missing or have been trafficked.
