James Green is the Institute of Government & Public Policy’s recently appointed managing director. Before joining the Institute, he served in the British Army and in a variety of strategy, policy and delivery roles in local government and with a regulator. He continues to serve Defence as an Army Reservist, where he leads a resilience support team and is the head planner for the military response to civil emergencies in the North-West region.
