Anne Burghgraef is the Clinical Director of Solace Surviving Exile and Persecution, a specialist therapeutic service for refugees and asylum seekers operating throughout Yorkshire and Humberside. She has been the clinical lead since the founding of Solace in 2006,and has developed the service to include group and family therapies as well as individual talking and body therapy. Anne, who is of Dutch Canadian origin is a UKCP registered Family & Systemic Psychotherapist and a specialist trauma practitioner with an interest in the broad range of therapies and in the relationship between worldviews, social and political structures and human flourishing.
