Modupe is a Public Health Consultant in Birmingham City Council with twenty years of local, regional and international healthcare experience. She drives delivery of public health objectives in the community using communication, engagement and education as levers.
She advocates the use of storytelling to connect with audiences and excels at delivering transformation, systems leadership and collaborative outcomes by effectively engaging key stakeholders.
Modupe is a qualified dentist and managed private/NHS dental practices, later commissioning local health services prior to joining Public Health England eight years ago to lead on the quality assurance of regional screening programmes. Her interests include global health and the impact of inequalities across the life course.
She is committed to working with communities to make an impactful difference and has shown leadership in coordinating public health responses to the coronavirus pandemic. She serves as a coach, mentor and volunteers with organisations bridging inequalities.
