Since his diagnosis of Young Onset dementia six years ago, Pete Middleton has dedicated himself to raising awareness of the issues that affect the dementia community. He works closely with academia, dementia charities, healthcare professionals and government agencies to inform and inspire them to include people with lived experience at the heart of everything they do.

He uses his background as an I.T. consultant to help people design dementia-friendly online interfaces. He is a public speaker, fundraiser, campaigner, and recipient of a Coronation Volunteer Champion award in 2023.

Pete creates A.I. generative art for fun in his spare time.
