- Ben Levinson OBE is headteacher at Kensington Primary School
- Last year the school was named primary school of the year – the gold prize in the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Awards, thanks to its trailblazing new curriculum which encompasses academic success, healthy living and pastoral care
- Kensington Primary also won the TES schools award for wellbeing and mental health
- When Ben took over as headteacher in 2014, the school went from a ‘requires improvement’ rating by Ofsted that year to being assessed as ‘outstanding’ two years later
- He was made an OBE in 2021 for services to education
- Ben is a member of the Department for Education’s expert advisory group on school staff wellbeing
- He is also a headteacher ambassador for the Youth Sport Trust and their active learning arm, Teach Active, and a board member of the Well Schools movement
