The Kia Oval, London 22 March 2022, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Secondary academies now represent 78.5% of secondary schools in England in the 2020/21 academic year. The government wants to see more schools in multi-academy trust by 2025 and is actively looking at how to make that happen. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, partnerships between schools are seen as fundamental and MATs have been the governments preferred vehicle for school improvement.
The Government has handed out £126 million in sponsor capacity funding since 2013 and announced £17 million in additional funding in 2019. The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic have caused academies across the country to explore and deliver new ways of working to ensure that the disruption to children’s education was minimised.
Join us for an engaging one-day event that will feature a combination of key Government and educational organisations and a wide range of practical case study examples of innovative practice. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and debate important issues such as mental health, behaviour management, income generation, governance, and funding.
Last year's Schools and Academies Event 2021 featured keynote presentations and case studies from representatives of the National Governance Association, Teacher Development Trust, Ofsted, Department for Education, Confederation of School Trusts, and many more.
