Online Conference 29 November 2022, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Working adults spend on average one-third of their waking life at work, so the workplace is key in the health and wellbeing of the majority of the population. COVID-19 has thrown the topic of the health and wellbeing of employees into the forefront of every organisation's agenda, with 75% of senior leaders agreeing employee health and wellbeing is now of paramount importance. A healthier and happy workforce has been shown to be more productive and successful.
According to the latest CIPD Health and Wellbeing at Work Report, there has been a slight decline in senior management focus on employee health and wellbeing. The figures suggest that line managers are still not being sufficiently supported in their work to help their staff on health and wellbeing.
It is important that organisations take an active role in the health and wellbeing of their employees as we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic. As we see a shift in organisational culture, it is apparent that a happy and supportive work environment leads to a more productive and successful team. And it is a change that is set to stay.
The Second Annual Health and Wellbeing at Work Event will explore the impact COVID-19 has had on health and well-being at work and what is being done by organisations to support their employees. It will explore the future of work beyond the pandemic, important shifts in workplace culture, and what changes will be taken forward into the future.
