Louise Dobbin is the Staff Health Protection Lead within the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service at the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. Originally qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2005, and gained experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy before taking up post in 2017 as the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Occupational Health. In this role she developed an interest in the multi-disciplinary team within Occupational Health and service improvement. She has led on key service improvements within Occupational Health, including musculoskeletal referral pathways and a Vocational Rehabilitation programme during the COVID 19 response.

Her current role as Staff Health Protection Lead, focuses on health protection and wellbeing initiatives for staff, including fatigue management programmes, fit testing, vaccine programmes and Good Practice Guides to Support Neurodiverse staff in the work place. She is particularly interested in how Occupational Health services can support neurodivergent staff through multidisciplinary working and inclusive service design.
