How can we transform awareness of neurodiversity into meaningful workplace inclusion?
Despite growing recognition of neurodiversity, many neurodivergent individuals in the UK continue to face significant challenges in employment. Only 31% of autistic adults are employed, compared to 54.7% of disabled people overall. Nearly half of neurodivergent adults report experiencing discrimination during job applications, with 51% feeling unable to disclose their neurodiversity due to stigma. While 64% of employers express confidence in supporting neurodivergent staff, many lack comprehensive policies and training, leading to daily barriers for employees.
The Institute for Government & Public Policy has built a strong reputation as a provider of diversity, equality, and inclusion events across the UK that are both motivating and inspirational.
