Jo is Senior Programme Manager for North of Tyne’s Child Poverty Prevention Programme. Jo has had a diverse career, spanning education, local government, pharmaceuticals, and the financial sector, she has held roles in both the private and public sector managing the strategy, design and delivery of complex programmes of work with multiple stakeholders. Jo has been in her current role since Spring 2022, and at North of Tyne Combined Authority, she is responsible for programme design and delivery across the three constituent authority areas (Newcastle, Northumberland and North Tyneside), with a strategic focus on how the Combined Authority can play its part to improve opportunities and outcomes for the most disadvantaged children and young people in the region.
