Luke is an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management at the University of Bath School of Management, having previously worked at Aston Business School, Aston University and Brighton Business School, University of Brighton. 

He holds a Doctorate in Management (HRM and Organisational Psychology) and previously worked as a Research Officer at the Institute for Employment Studies (IES). 

Luke is currently an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Human Resource Management, and is on the Editorial Board for Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology.

His interests and research include LGBT+ inclusion and wider diversity management initiatives, employee engagement and meaningful work, and wellbeing at work.

Luke teaches and runs workshops around strategic HR topics and people management issues, particularly around diversity and inclusion, employee motivation and engagement, work design and making work more meaningful, and sustaining wellbeing at work.
