Shannon is Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing Advisory Services at Business in the Community, where she heads up a team of advisers who ensure that member and non-member organisations lead with their ambitions to become more inclusive and more on the front foot of wellbeing, creating lasting impact internally and externally. 

Shannon provides one-to-one support to CEOs and senior business leaders on embedding intersectional inclusion and wellbeing, ensuring that businesses are creating fairer and more equitable businesses over the long-term. 

Prior to working at BITC, Shannon ran her own social enterprise leading on diversity and inclusion as change management principles. During her work, Shannon has worked with Lucy & Yak, US state governments, non-governmental organisations, among others. Shannon also previously led on programmes to upskill Black and minoritised ethnic groups; delivered sessions to over 200 people in her work with Greenpeace UK, Revolvling Doors, and Porchlight; and delivered strategic advice to clients.
