Mike Hobday is Executive Director of Policy and Campaigns for the National Deaf Children’s Society. He leads a team seeking to remove the barriers that impede deaf children in their education, working with and influencing national and local governments across the UK. He has previously led campaigns in a range of charities from the League Against Cruel Sports to Macmillan Cancer Support and has worked in leadership roles for a professional regulator and a DfE-sponsored non departmental public body. He spent eight years as a County Councillor in Hertfordshire.
