Christina McGill biography For Horizon Accessible homes event September 2024

Having joined Habinteg as Head of Communications in 2011 Christina is now Director of Social Impact and External Affairs.

Christina is passionate about the positive impact that accessible homes can have on people’s lives. In her time with Habinteg she has overseen delivery of numerous reports and briefings to support the campaign to increase the supply of accessible homes. Most recently she has led on the organisations influential ‘Accessible Homes Forecast’ (2019 and 2020) and the 2023 ‘Living not Existing’ report based on research commissioned from the London School of Economics into the social and economic value of wheelchair accessible homes.

She has led the team responsible for the introduction and development of the multi- award winning #ForAccessibleHomes campaign along with a raft of government consultation work and parliamentary engagement and is co-chair of the Housing Made for Everyone Coalition.
