Maxine is the Headteacher of Hope School, a specialist SEMH school, and the author of The Secret Life of SENCO. With extensive expertise in attachment and trauma, Maxine is dedicated to supporting students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. As the HEARTS Network Lead and co-creator, Maxine champions a trauma-informed approach to schooling, ensuring that every child receives the care and education they need to thrive.
