Dr Maria Adamson, PhD (York), Academic MCIPD is an Associate Professor of Organisation Studies at Queen Mary University of London. She is also a co-director of the Centre for Research in Equality and Diversity (CRED). Dr Adamson is a critical scholar with an interdisciplinary background and broad interests in the sociology of work, gendered careers, and inclusion in work and organisations. Her work has been published in world-leading journals including Human Relations, Sociology, Gender, Work and Organisations and so on. She is currently serving as an Associate Editor of the British Journal of Management. She has recently led a project on Future-Proofing Your Flexible Workforce which explored the issues of managing flexibility during and post-Covid-19 crisis, with findings published by the Working Families charity this year. https://workingfamilies.org.uk/research-publications/
