Online Conference 7 December 2023, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Universities have a critical role in sustainability through their teaching and research; however, they are under increasing pressure to improve their own environmental track record.
The UK government has set a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2050. This means that the UK will need to reduce its emissions to zero and offset any remaining emissions. Universities and colleges are working hard to achieve this target and have set ambitious carbon reduction targets of their own.
The Second Annual Driving Sustainability in Higher Education conference will explore how UK universities have made progress in driving the sustainability agenda across learning, teaching, research, campus life, and the wider local and global community.
Join us for the Second Annual Driving Sustainability in Higher Education event, which will explore the key themes of leadership, education, research, operations, and community engagement.
