Katy is a Dean of Learning at Ambition Institute where she oversees design of a suite of teaching and leadership programmes including the ECF. Prior to working at Ambition Institute she was an Associate Dean at the Institute for Teaching where she led and designed the whole school Transforming Teaching programme. Before that Katy was Head of Curriculum Development at Ark Teacher Training. Before moving into teacher development, Katy was a history teacher and Deputy Director of Sixth Form in a challenging London school. She is also an alumnus of Teach First and school governor.
