Rick is the Contract Management Director on the New Hospitals Programme (NHP).  He is directly involved in the post-award management of all contracts that support the success of the programme.  This includes the Programme Delivery Partner which is currently going through Final Business Case. Rick is supporting the development of the Hospital 2.0 Alliance which is a framework intended to support the delivery of hospitals through a more robust supply chain based on contemporary terms and conditions, industry guidance and market feedback.

Rick has 25 years of experience in the built environment.  He started his career working on hospitals as a Construction Manager on Calderdale PFI and has since gone on to the delivery a range of major projects including theme parks, historic refurbishment, retail and energy projects in the UK and overseas. Rick was an Operations Director in the Mace Energy and Utilities Sector and then led Energy, Industry and Nuclear sectors at AtkinsRealis. Recently Rick led the ISG ‘Hyperscale’ major projects teams delivering large scale pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, prison and data centre projects.
