Head of Decarbonisation Service

Kelly Crews joined Willmott Dixon in early 2023, as Head of Decarbonisation, leading the service at a national level, delivering an end-to-end decarbonisation solution to customers, while helping to raise awareness of the service across a diverse customer base, working collaboratively to support the delivery of decarbonisation goals and aspirations.

Kelly previously worked for Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust, where she was Head of Sustainability, managing a cross-cutting portfolio including decarbonisation, net zero delivery, active and sustainable travel; EV infrastructure development and delivery; adaptation; waste; and biodiversity, developing and implementing the Trusts net zero strategy, decarbonisation plans, initiating investment grade audits and programme of works, supporting the identification of low carbon and renewable solutions to support the reduction in consumption, emission and costs, successfully identifying and securing external funding via LCSF and PSDS supporting the delivery of decarbonisation initiatives.

With a total of 23 years' experience in the public sector, with over 20-years in a Local Authority, working within the Chief Executives Office supporting the development and delivery of strategic plans, inspection processes, VfM delivery, performance and innovation, service improvements, followed by 15 years focused on climate change, net zero, decarbonisation, and utilities management, this has resulted in a clear and in- depth knowledge of the net zero agenda, strategic planning and service delivery improvement methodologies.
