Dr Joyce Ameh is an NHS GP. She obtained her medical qualification in 1990 and had held training jobs in multiple specialties before undertaking training in General Practice.

She finished her GP training in 2005 and became a GP partner in a very busy inner city medical practice.

She developed an interest in women’s health issues and set up and ran a successful well women clinic.  The clinic covered all family planning and sexual health issues.

More recently she undertook extra training in Lifestyle Medicine and Menopause Management. She set up a Health Consultancy Service which also provided clinical services to a private menopause clinic.

She no longer undertakes clinical work, but spends her time delivering public speaking about lifestyle medicine and menopause issues.

On a personal note she is married and has three children and is an active member of a local church.
