Deputy Chair - CMI Women at Chartered Management Institute, and Co-Founder of Zebra Partnership

Carol Ann is an award winning Mentor, Strategic Planner, Event Producer and Host, BBC Radio contributor, Campaigner and she is on the Northern Power Women PowerList. 

The Co-founder of The Zebra Partnership  (Publishing, Events, Media & Campaigns Agency), Deputy Chair, Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Womens Committee.

First black Heritage Trustee and Committee Chair of The Portico Library and Newsroom - they have just received a multimillion heritage lottery grant to unify the 1806 original building.

She is a 50:50 Parliament Trustee and Head of EDI Engagement for the Rosa Funded ‘Amplifying Muted Voices’ 2024/25 campaign for women of colour in the North of England - to encourage women to Rise, Roar, Represent 

RISE and aim for the Palace of Westminster or Council Chambers; to ROAR so their voice and lived experience can be heard and seen; and 

REPRESENT their community, cultural heritage and gender.

In 2019 working in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Carol Ann was honoured with Global Goodwill Ambassador status from the foundation. In 2022 she was awarded with the ‘Inspiring Women Worldwide’ accolade from the Women's International Network in Geneva. 

Carol Ann was included in the Diversein.com list of ‘Women Who Change the World’ based on social media followers submissions during Women’s History Month 2023. 

This led to her being invited by UN Women UK to be a CSW67 and CSW68 delegate but one of the faces at their 2023 UN Women awards. Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the largest annual gathering of United Nations on gender equality and womens empowerment.
