Kate Faxen

Strategic Talent and Leadership Lead at Westminster City Council, Empathetic Leadership and Neurodiversity Coach

Kate is a people and culture expert as well as a leadership coach with decades of experience empowering individuals and organisations to create thriving workplaces where all people can flourish.   She specialises in helping organisations become truly neuroinclusive by raising awareness, providing tailored coaching, and advising on systemic change—unlocking the full potential of a broader cohort of talent. A passionate advocate for neurodivergent individuals, being ADHD herself, Kate creates safe, inclusive spaces that foster self-awareness, confidence, and authenticity. She supports clients through challenging moments and introduces fresh perspectives that enable growth and transformation. She works with individual clients to uncover unconscious aspirations, guiding them from feeling “broken” to experiencing genuine joy and fulfilment in their careers, helping them reignite their passion, deepen authentic and empathetic leadership, and unlock their full potential. Her coaching programmes are entirely bespoke—thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique challenges and goals of each client. At the heart of Kate’s work are the values of trust, altruism, fairness, and joy—principles she brings into every interaction. Beyond coaching, Kate is deeply committed to volunteering. She holds roles with organisations supporting SEND families, women in higher education, and parents and carers of neurodivergent children. She is also an Ambassador for GFS and a leader within The Wonderful Women Movement.
