Prof Mark Whiteley is a consultant venous surgeon in the UK. He introduced endovenous surgery in to the UK in March 1999 and set up the internationally renowned “The Whiteley Clinic” in 2001. He now has 5 clinics in the UK (London, Guildford, Bristol, Poole and Manchester. The Whiteley Clinic has been awarded the “best Veins Clinic in the UK” for the last 6 years by GHP Magazine.

Mark set up The College of Phlebology in 2011 and now runs training courses and fellowships, as well as the College of Phlebology International Vein Registry and College of Phlebology Pre-print Server.

He sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery Venous and Lymphatic Disorders, reviews for more than 20 journals, has won multiple international prizes for his work and has over 150 peer-reviewed publications. He has written several books, including “Leg Ulcer Treatment Revolution”.
