Just after coming off the pill to start a family at 34, Ronié experienced what she knew for sure were menopausal symptoms within weeks.  After a blood test, and a referral to gynae, she was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), where the ovaries stop working all together.  After a failed IVF treatment, the last 8 years she has been on a journey to find the right HRT protocol to get ahead of the symptoms of menopause.  Ronié is determined to not let her suffering be in vain and tries to share her experience where she can in the hope that others do not feel the sense of isolation the condition can bring. 

Ronié is an Executive Assistant and lives in South East London.
