Emma Keating Clark

Stroud District Council

My role is to plan and influence the work of our team and our health and wellbeing partners. I work with Public Health, the Gloucestershire Clinical Commission Group and our local GPs, health and care partners to influence how services should be delivered in our district.

A large part of my role is being an advocate for strengths based voluntary and community work as a way to encourage stronger, healthier communities. I co-host our district network for the voluntary and statutory sectors called Know Your Patch and I’m an advocate for the role of the voluntary sector in a number of county health forums. I also lead on the development of Community Hubs across the district to support new groups who want to do more for their communities post-pandemic. I advise on grant funding and help voluntary sector organisations work together with partners.
