Consultant in Palliative Medicine

Dr. Sulaivany graduated from the University of Salahaddin in 1992 and, after the completion of her general medical training in the UK, joined St. Rocco's in August 2005. She gained her Diploma in Palliative Medicine from Cardiff University in 2009.

She is currently the hospice medical lead and the responsible clinician for all patient care at St. Rocco's hospice.

Dr. Sulaivany has a professional interest in teaching and is an honorary senior lecturer at Liverpool University as well as being the group lead for the Warrington Specialist Palliative Care Education and represents the Warrington Integrated Clinical Network (ICN) on the Merseyside & Cheshire Cancer and EOL Network Strategic Education Group.

The current Chair of the Association of Palliative Medicine UK and Ireland (APM) SAS Committee, Dr. Sulaivany's role includes positive contribution and influence the Palliative Medicine national discussions, developments and projects including supporting fellow SAS doctors in Palliative Medicine.
