Meg is the Director of the New Schools Network, a charity set up in 2009 to improve educational opportunities for young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. NSN has supported the set up of over 700 free schools and supported over 2,000 professionals to take up governance position on MAT boards.

Before NSN, Meg worked in Government for 15 years as an advisor in many departments including in the Department for Education and Downing Street.
