Steve has worked in the water industry for over 20 years, originally joining Portsmouth Water as a Laboratory Technician, and holding a number of other roles including Water Quality Scientist and Distribution Project Manager. Steve has a BSc(Hons) in Applied Science from Portsmouth University and is a Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered Scientist. Between 2019 and 2021, he was the National Chairman of the Institute of Water sitting on the Board and Audit & Finance Committee. In January 2020, he joined the senior management team at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and is now Head of Wholesale Service, Emergency Planning & Security.
