Resilient emergency care forms the cornerstone of national health systems across the world, enabling an effective response to emergencies, meeting the healthcare needs of individuals and saving lives. The COVID-19 pandemic revealed the widespread existing gaps in co-ordinated service provision, resulting in avoidable deaths and leaving communities vulnerable. On a daily basis, emergency healthcare fails to keep up with demand.
In May 2023, the Seventy-sixth World Health Assembly endorsed a groundbreaking resolution focused on emergency, critical, and operative (ECO) care, underlining the significance of integrated and commissioned care pathways, Resolution 76.2.
In partnership with the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM), the Institute of Government & Public Policy (IGPP) is delighted to present the Emergency Care Conference: Shaping Future Emergency Care Pathways, Learning From Others. This conference will provide valuable insights into the global emergency care landscape, emphasising the importance of integrated and commissioned care pathways and showcasing strategies to enhance emergency care delivery.
Join IFEM and IGPP for an enriching experience where healthcare professionals, policy-makers, and industry experts come together to explore the latest trends, share knowledge, and foster collaboration in this critical field.
