Jo is a qualified teacher with a background in all through special schools. She has led on curriculum design and SEND outreach to mainstream schools. Having taught pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, and profound and multiple learning difficulties, Jo has gone on to serve in a range of senior leadership roles including headship and executive school leadership. In her earlier career she was a teacher in mainstream primary schools as well as a music subject teacher in secondary. Jo has an MA in Education and a particular interest in communication development and SEND leadership.
