Change Coach DfE SENDAP Improvement Plan

Pauline is currently working on the national SENDAP Change Programme across three regions and has been involved in the 'deep dives' into inclusion in mainstream schools. A teacher by trade Pauline has worked in both primary and secondary inner city schools. After headship she moved into local government in councils across the country, latterly as Director of Education, Inclusion and Skills. Inclusion is has always been central to her work. As an Irish Traveller she brings lived experience of one of the most excluded groups in society and is chair of The Traveller Movement a national charity promoting the rights of the Romany, Roma and Irish Traveller communities. Her OBE was awarded in 2020 for services to children and young people in education.
